Case Studies try to simulate decision-making situation that trainees may find at their work place. It reflects the situations and complex problems faced by managers, staff, HR, CEO, etc. The objective of the case study method is to get trainees to apply known concepts and ideologies and ascertain new ones. The case study method emphasizes on approach to see a particular problem rather than a solution. Their solutions are not as important as the understanding of advantages and disadvantages.
Our trainings are highly interactive, typically taking a case study approach that we have found to be an effective method of fostering discussions and transferring knowledge. Cases are developed and delivered by former and sitting regulators and supervisors who have experienced these situations first hand and can therefore share what they have learned, focusing on what worked and what did not. We constantly emphasize on what works in practice – not just the theory so that participants can apply what they’ve learned when they return to their organisations.
When brainstorming is used in our training seminar, it's often used differently than where the goal is to solve a specific problem. That is because the purpose of brainstorming in seminars is a bit different to encourage learners to think both creatively and critically, which in turn, gets us to the ultimate goal, learning. Our trainers use a wide variety of learning activities and exercises to promote learning. It's critical that trainers master the "tools of the trade", since exercises and activities that are incorrectly used just use up valuable training time, and can even interfere with job performance once learners return to the workplace. We've gathered together hand-picked information about what the various training tools entail, and how to use them properly. Whether it's brainstorming, group work, or even simple things like icebreakers and energizers, you will find guides to their correct use in our training seminars.
Upon completion of a programme, we follow up as needed with additional training and mentoring. All program participants are welcome to contact program leaders and directors to request additional support and information, and are encouraged to seek advice from their peers who may be facing similar challenges, also allowing organisations to phase-in implementation of new concepts and discuss any problems or challenges as they arise.
We give our participants and Clients the tools they need to implement change. Through various methods. Our action planning methodology is a particularly powerful tool: through it, participants identify, assess, and develop a solution to a specific challenge they face at work. Throughout our programs, participants benefit from input and guidance on their action plans from both their colleagues and our facilitators.
